MEXICAN EVERYDAY... in Cleveland

mexicanbaylessWhile watching the movie "Julie and Julia", I was inspired to cook my way through a cookbook written by one of my favorite chefs. I thought, what a fun project!

So which cookbook would I want to cook my way through? I immediately thought of Rick Bayless and chose his wonderful cookbook, "Mexican Everyday". It contains 98 recipes and I plan to make them all.

I thought this would be a great way to get me back into blogging and it would be a fun challenge for myself. Not only to reach a goal I've set for myself, but to further sharpen my Mexican cooking skills. It is, after all, my favorite type of food to cook and to eat, so it only makes sense that I would choose this book.

I'll still be posting here anytime I cook recipes I've created myself or that I've found in other cookbooks or online.
