Emeril's One-Pot Blogger Cooking Party: 2 Giveaways!

SizzlingSkillets jacket cover Hi-Res

I hope you've been enjoying my recent posts chronicling all the cooking I've been doing from Emeril Lagasse's new cookbook, Sizzling Skillets and Other One-Pot Wonders. It's made for a few busy weeks for me, especially with all the traveling we've been doing, but it has been fun.

I've always gravitated toward Emeril recipes for several reasons. One... he's not afraid of garlic and heat. At all. I love that. I like my food to have tons of flavor and let you know you're alive when you're eating it. Two... he's not trying to fit his recipes into that ridiculous "five ingredients or less" type of mold for "busy moms on the go". I'm not a mom, but I have to assume even busy moms want recipes with a little more flavor than five ingredients can provide.

Well I can tell you for certain, the above two characteristics that I love so much about Emeril recipes are very much alive and kicking in his newest cookbook, Sizzling Skillets and Other One-Pot Wonders. There are zero boring recipes in this cookbook and the variety is amazing. You can open this book and make anything from a big pot roast or pork tenderloin to a seafood stew or a beef and broccoli stir-fry.

I highly recommend this cookbook and you can order it today here. ....OR would you like to win a copy? Well of course you would! Simply leave a comment on this post today and tomorrow at Noon a random winner will be chosen from the comments.

Oh... you want more? Geesh! Alright, alright... just in case you don't win the cookbook, the second prize is the Emeril by zak! Table Art 7-piece Flame-Shaped Serving Bowl set pictured here:
